Since 2015, it has been our privilege to publish a quarterly journal celebrating the curiosity, courage and creativity of young New Zealand writers and artists.
We are excited to let you know that Toitoi is changing shape in 2024. Next year we will publish the extraordinary work of young Kiwi creatives in an annual collection delivered in October.
We are making this change for many reasons - to give us the time and space to recharge and reflect, to refresh the journal as a creative space, and to make sure that Toitoi can continue in the current economic climate.
